Waldekovka
Imagine that you are transported back in time to the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, where in the heart of the Podkarpackie landscape, in Racławice near Niska, the summer residence of the family of Maria and Mieczysław Waldecki was erected. This place, surrounded by the lush court park “Waldekówka”, entered today in the register of monuments, was bustling with aristocratic meetings and quiet summer days. After the storms of World War II, the former estate fell into oblivion and had to give way to ruin. But in 2004-2009, with respect for history, the current owners erected a new residence here - a majestic manor-style house, harmoniously blending into the surroundings of age-old trees, including two natural monuments: pedunculate oak and common maple.
Crossing the gate of this 6.38-hectare estate, close to the exit of the S19 route connecting Rzeszów with Lublin, you feel how time slows down. The main house, with a total area of more than 600 square meters, welcomes you with a wide entrance with a sandstone staircase and a pedestal, and in front of it a lighted fountain flickers, as if a guardian of secrets. The interior, finished with marble on the floors, oak parquet floors and doors, pays tribute to tradition — stucco on the walls, high-end Miele appliances in the kitchen. On the ground floor, 3.3 meters high, there is a space for family and guests: a spacious kitchen with a dining area, a living room with access to the southern terrace sheltered by the shade of an old oak, a study for quiet contemplations, as well as a master bedroom with a private bathroom, a dressing room and an additional bedroom equipped with a sauna. All heated by a Viessmann gas stove, with a circulation pump for instant hot water, and a floor system under the marble floors.
