Since 1 May 2026, the EU-Mercosur Trade Agreement has opened the European
market of 700 million consumers to Brazilian agricultural exports under
preferential tariffs. A buyer acquiring productive livestock land in Mato
Grosso today positions ahead of the structural demand increase in Brazilian
beef and protein exports to Europe that will follow.
