On the seashore, prices for houses and apartments are two to three times more expensive than just 20-30 km deep into Bulgaria from the seashore. In the same amazing town of Sredets, you can buy a small but nice house with a garden or a two- or three-room apartment for only 20 thousand euros. The center of Burgas is 15 minutes away. Moreover, buses from there very often go to the Black Sea coast, to Burgas, other cities, and even to Greece and Turkey. The border with Greece is only 150 km away by an excellent road, and the Aegean Greek Sea is about the same. The border with Turkey is about 100 km away.
Sredets is a city with a multicultural population. An agricultural fair is held in the city of Sredets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People come to the fair from all over the area and sell fruits and vegetables from their farmstead. The fair takes place in the alleys of the city park of culture and is full of an abundance of goods, cars, colorful shops and a multitude of sellers and buyers.
