On the seashore, prices for houses and apartments are two to three times more expensive than just 20-30 km deep into Bulgaria from the seashore. Sredets is a city with a multicultural population. An agricultural fair is held in the city of Sredets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People come to the fair from all over the area and sell fruits and vegetables from their farmstead.
