An agricultural fair is held in Sredets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. People come to the fair from all over the area and sell fruits and vegetables from their farmstead. The fair takes place in the alleys of the city park of culture and is full of an abundance of goods, cars, colorful shops and a multitude of sellers and buyers. Incredibly low prices for agricultural products from the manufacturer, directly from their garden.

The city presents very beautiful old cobbled streets and sturdy houses with tiled roofs. The whole town is surrounded by greenery under the crowns of ancient trees. Sredets is located at the foot of the mountain of the Strandzha National Mountain Reserve, and there are many coniferous trees growing around the city.
