Angen-les-Bains is a "royal" thermal resort near Paris. It has long been famous for its healing sulphate waters. The first balneological hospital (indications for treatment - diseases of the respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, general health improvement) was opened here at the beginning of the 18th century, and the resort gained popularity after it was here that King Louis XVIII of France was cured of the ailment with the help of procedures using local medicinal waters. Since then, members of the royal family and the entire aristocracy have been treated in Angen-les-Bains.
But! Angen-les-Bains is not only a wonderful balneological resort. There is something to see and where to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city: the shady alleys of the famous Rose Garden, numerous cozy cafes and restaurants, the Van Gogh and Rousseau Museum, the House of Arts, the Valley of the Expressionists.
