Concrete floors run throughout the apartment, with materials and textures taking center stage. The kitchen, designed by Dean Edmonds, features stainless steel cabinets and countertops combined with a warm wood grain that softens the look and ties everything together. In the living and dining areas, a glassed-in balcony on the ground floor offers tranquil views of the communal gardens below. The spacious hallway includes built-in wardrobes and a small nook that serves as a mini-office and pocket library. There are many possibilities here, but it is already perfectly livable.

Camberwell itself is vibrant, creative and renowned for its informality. Here you can find Silk Road for unrivaled Chinese cuisine, Lala Books for a leisurely book search, and Cable Café for when you want live music. Transport links make it easy to get into central London, but also easy to escape from the city, whether for countryside walks or coastal holidays.

The owners say they love their apartment, the complex, the communal gardens and the area - it's an incredible, warm and quiet place to live. The neighbors are friendly, caring and kind. We are surrounded by peace and quiet thanks to the communal gardens where we regularly walk or sit - they are so lovely.

They also love being so close to Camberwell with its great pubs, restaurants and independent shops. We live in a prime corner of South East London; within walking distance of Camberwell, The Oval, Kennington, Brixton, Stockwell and Elephant & Castle. It's also a 30-minute walk to Waterloo and a 45-minute walk to Covent Garden, so exploring the city on foot is really easy.
