Hunting castle with 20.37 hectares of land
Historical castle of the XVI century in Gothic style.
Location: one of the most picturesque places 76 km from Liepaja and the coastline of the Gulf of Riga, 172 km from Riga.
The castle complex is located on a huge plot of land of 20.37 hectares,
of which:12.37 ha - forest and park, 6 ha - arable land, 2 ha - lake and trout river.
Central building 1600m2 (castle) it was built in 1561, since that time it has been partially rebuilt only once. Now the building has been overhauled for "finishing" finishing, underfloor heating has been made on the entire ground floor.
The park belonging to the castle has great historical significance and is mentioned in many chronicles of the XVIII-XIX centuries as one of the most picturesque places in Kurzeme (Courland).
The owners of the castle at different times were famous people.
