History:
The palace was built in the second half of the XVIII century for the Ivanovich family of the captain. There are mentions of it in land documents of 1808 — then it belonged to Luka Ivanovich and was estimated at 6,400 Austrian forints. The Ivanovichi were considered one of the richest Dobrot families — by the beginning of the XIX century they had 11 houses in Dobrot with a total value of 23140 Austrian forints. For comparison, 24 dobrotsky houses of another famous Radimir family were estimated at only 21,740 forints.
The architecture of the buildings is made in the Baroque style. It is one of the outstanding castles and buildings on the coast of Montenegro.
