The Tersane Istanbul project.
The unique project is located in the Beyoglu district, near the Golden Horn Bay.
The project area is 242,000 sq. m. It includes 4 five-star hotels, 4 museums, 26 historical buildings, 2 marinas, shopping malls and residential complexes with various concepts.
The project is located on historically important land, where the Ottoman shipyard was located in the early days.
After the conquest of Constantinople in 1453, the Ottoman sultans realized that they would be able to defend Constantinople only from the water, and began active construction of military vessels. However, they could not conduct shipbuilding from the Bosphorus Strait, due to the strong wind of Lodos.
The only place left was the Golden Horn Bay, and this territory was chosen, where the sultans often held celebrations. Some sources also mention that this was the favorite place of the sultan's mother, who watched the sunsets turning the water golden, hence the name of the bay - the Golden Horn.
The project preserves the culture and history of this territory, all historical buildings have been restored and there will also be 4 museums on the territory.
